2. Use it as a suspension agent:
Because of hydroxypropyl starch hydrophilic
than wheat starch, easy water expansion, can with gluten protein, wheat starch
combined with each other to form uniform dense network structure, so add flour
in flour production 1% hydroxypropyl starch, can reduce the degree of starch
regeneration, make placed after storage wet surface still has a soft taste, the
quality of noodles, dissolution rate are improved.
3. Use it as a food coating and packaging
film:
The hydroxypropyl starch of high straight
chain corn can dissolve in water, forming a transparent and edible film, and
the oxygen can not penetrate at 25℃ and different
relative humidity, which is suitable for food coating and packaging.
4. Oilfield:
The most important application of
hydroxypropyl starch in oil field production is as drilling fluid additive,
stabilizing well wall, improving well conditions, flocculation drilling chips
and filter loss, among which the most important is filter loss reduction.
